Programs of CHOICE
Programs of Choice give students the opportunity to put their future college and career plans on the fast track. The focused coursework of each program is geared to help students secure licenses, certifications and even college credit before graduating from high school. In many instances students are able to secure careers immediately upon graduation. Programs of choice are designed for students who desire the setting of a traditional school atmosphere yet want to pursue more concentrated areas of study based on their own college and career interests.

Early College High School
Earn 2 years of college FREE
Want to earn up to 60 college credit hours FOR FREE in Grand Prairie ISD? By joining one of our 2 early college programs, you can earn your associate degree while attending high school. In fact, you would graduate with your associate degree BEFORE your high school graduation. Save a ton of money and get a jump-start on your career aspirations in the Early College program in Grand Prairie ISD.

Bilingual and Dual Language
For Pre-K through 5th grades
Did you know that Grand Prairie ISD offers two-way dual language for native English speakers and speakers of other languages? Dual language programs use two languages for literacy and content instruction for all students. They provide instruction in Spanish and English over an extended period, from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade, with instruction in Spanish at least 50% of the time.
